Concetto Famos passes on the traits that make him a guaranteed ribbon winner when he flies over awesome jumps in show jumping courses with his rider, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. Four of his sons have been licensed, including a yet unnamed young stallion who sold for 100,000 Euros at the NRW Stallion Market, a Southern German premium stallion named Cobra and the 2010 Southern German Jumper Champion Stallion, Cortoni, who was awarded a 10.0 for his ability to jump. In 2011, a Concetto Famos daughter won the Oldenburg Free Jumping Championships in Vechta with a 9.0. In 2010 and 2011, Campitello and Alexander Hinz won the Oldenburg Show Jumping Championships in Rastede by a wide margin and placed in the Bundeschampionat. His first offspring are now winning ribbons up to advanced level, among which is Con Palermo who placed in the Bundeschampionat Final and was sold for a high price at the P.S.I. Auction.
His Holstein sire, Caletto I, won team bronze at the 1983 EC in Hickstead/GBR under Dr. Michael Rüping. His Danish bred dam, St.Pr.St. Sif, is a great granddaughter of the trademark stallion Ramiro through his son, Racot. In the third generation you find the Trakehner stallion Isländer from the famous Isola Longa family.
Licensed for Hanover (also the Jumper Breeding Program), Holstein, Oldenburg, OS, Denmark, Switzerland, Hungary and Italy
